Categories: Documentary, History

From Santiago, Chile, it takes three hours to fly to one of the most remote islands on earth. Named after the Spanish explorer who first discovered it, it's the Island of Juan Fernandez. It was made famous by Alexander Selkirk, who was marooned there for four years and four days. His experience led Daniel Defoe to write the classic novel "Robinson Crusoe," one of the many tales to have arisen from this mysterious land of castaways.

This second of the series equals the first with the same kind of mystery and adventure. There's no doubt that I'll be watching ALL of them!
