In the world of dying and spying, love is the ultimate weapon. In this 1970s Middle East-set thriller, Saudi diplomat Khalil (played by none other than the original James Bond himself, Sean Connery) wants to make peace with Israel and admit the Jewish state to OPEC. As the other OPEC nations argue amongst themselves, Khalil instantly becomes a target for a series of assassination attempts—most of which he foils with the aid of his friend Hamid (Albert Paulsen, The Manchurian Candidate) and his girlfriend Nicole (Cornelia Sharpe, Serpico). But can he really trust them? ARAB CONSPIRACY (aka THE NEXT MAN) was produced by Oscar-nominated producer Martin Bregman (Dog Day Afternoon) and directed by Richard C. Sarafian (Vanishing Point).
