Having inherited money from his parents, thirty-year-old Goran lives a relatively carefree life in a small Bosnian town. Most of his buddies were severely injured in the war, and are coping with post-traumatic stress. But when his three best friends are killed in a bizarre bar brawl, he hatches an unusual plan to deal with the tragic loss. Selling his house and all of his possessions, Goran buys a truck and converts it to a traveling tavern. Going from town to town, he gives away free drinks to everyone he meets—encountering suspicion every step of the way. A darkly humorous tale of loss and reconciliation rendered as an allegory for Bosnia's rediscovery of its humanity, Sarajevo-born Antonio Nuic's ALL FOR FREE (SVE DZABA) is presented in Bosnian-Croatian with English subtitles. This film is an official selection of the prestigious, award-winning Global Lens Collection presented by the Global Film Initiative.
